„Still Life with Man and Woman“ is a performance about longing. It is an interface for interactions that appear from multiple collisions and overlaps three worlds: the world of imagination, the world of physical presence and the world that is created in the solidity between those two.
Andrea Bozic studied at Amsterdam School for New Dance Development (SNDO) and was invited to show her multimedia piece at Plateauy Festival in Mousonturm, Frankfurt/M.

„Stillleben mit Mann und Frau“ nennt Andrea Bozic ihre Performance zwischen Tanz und Film. Ausgehend von einer kurzen Szene aus Michelangelo Antonioni’s Film „Blow Up“ choreografiert die in Amsterdam lebende Kroatin einen zugleich kühlen und leidenschaftlichen Thriller für zwei Akteure um das Thema Sehnsucht. Doch nicht die Paarbeziehung ist das zentrale Thema, sondern das raffinierte Spiel zwischen den Erzählebenen und Medien: Das gestische Bewegungsmaterial der Tänzer ist überlagert von den Erinnerungen an die berühmten Filmbilder, vorproduzierte Videosequenzen der Medienkünstlerin Julia Willms wechseln nahtlos mit live produzierten Projektionen des Bühnengeschehens.
