Le Theatre N099, créé en février 2005, est à la fois une compagnie de théâtre et un lieu consacré au théâtre contemporain national et international : des metteurs en scène majeurs et de renommée internationale, tels qu'Alexandre Pepelyayev, sont ainsi accueillis. En plus de son activité de diffusion, ce théâtre organise en parallèle des expositions d'art contemporain, des concerts de jazz, des festivals, des débats…

“Theatre N099 started in Feburary 2005. It's a small theatre group with its own theatre house situated in the centre of Tallinn, Estonia. The theatre concentrates on staging drama plays, organizing contemporary jazz concerts etc. It has one big black box hall with appr. 160 seats, one smaller hall downstairs with appr. 100 seats, and two halls with are used for other events. The main focus of the theatre is on staging contemporary Estonian and foreign plays and on activities bounded with our ideological aims: organizing contemporary art exhibitions, jazz concerts, stage design festivals, discussions etc. Several leading Estonian and foreign directors will be producing in our theatre in the upcoming season, incl. world-famous dance theatre director Alexander Pepelyayev (Moscow) and one of the leading contemporary theatre regisseurs Sebastian Hartmann (Berlin).
