Howard Katz was born in New York City, where he completed his education
in the classical and modern dance, acting, singing, and martial arts.
University education at the California Institute of the Arts.
From 1982 to 92 he headed his company and studio in NYC.
and co-created other works with David Parsons, Donald Byrd, Frey Faust
and others.
Performances and lectures in the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, and Korea.
Since 1996 he changed his base to Berlin, continuing to work as a choreographer and solo artist in cooperation with artists from various countries in interdisciplinary productions.
