Looking for a missing employee is a story about the disappearance of a Lebanese tax official with a case full of money - a true incident that became submerged in a flood of speculation, false reports, suspicions, rumors, and lies. Sitting among the audience under the surveillance of two video cameras, Rabih Mroué sets out to discover the truth. As the performance develops, facts are reported and constantly challenged, thus underlining the hopelessness of seeking any truth in the matter. |
